Just when you thought you’ve been eating right and calories in – calories out equates to weight loss? think again. You got it all wrong.
I’m about to undergo a RESET.
August 22, 2011 marks the first day of the 30 days cycle program of Curves circuit training program. No, it doesn’t mean you’d have to attend to the circuit everyday for 30 days (why not?) but instead, Curves came up with a personalized mindful eating and lifestyle change program wherein you’ll be educated and re-educated about mindful eating: portion control, proper supplementation, and the importance of a 30 minute exercise at least 3x a week plus your everyday walking and other activities.
You go through assessment tests, one on one conversation with the nutritionist and trainers will attend to you all throughout your workout. The best part? all these, No additional costs!
50 lbs off, 20 lbs to go!
Aside from my now frequent short distance running and yoga sessions, join me as I lose the bulge with the help of Curves and their nutritional counseling.
Aha! I’ll be using my EASYTONE trainers often!!!
I have my mini notebook back to jot down the food I eat, what time did I consume each meal and what I felt before and after; No, we aren’t counting calories but we’re knowing ourselves more and our choices.
The calendar is set, 3x a week. No excuses.
“You have an event coming up and you don’t know if you’ll make good choices. Here’s how to see the future.”
That wedding, office get-together, family reunion, or birthday barbeque sounds like fun, but the food choices will likely be things you shouldn’t eat…and there’ll be way too much of it. What’s a girl to do? Look into the future. Really. Actually think about what will happen: how will the food be presented (buffet style, served at the table, a waiter walking around with hors d’oeuvres), what will they serve, what will they serve that you can eat, what should you absolutely avoid? The more insight you have the better. Now imagine how you will react. Envision yourself only taking what you’ve pre-determined is okay. “See” yourself walking past the no-no items, saying “No thanks” to seconds being offered, and leaving bowls of food untouched. Make sure to see your expression – you, smiling, happy. How do you feel? Empowered, in control, confident…with no regrets. By visualizing the outcome you want, you will be far more likely to have a reality to match.
