400th Anniversary Iba, Zambales

Are you sick and tired complaining about the ravenous number of people on the road training, the overcrowded malls, traffic jam and wasn’t able to book a summer gate-away  due to the teem amount of tourists? Here’s your chance to scrape away from the congested roads, be by the beach and yet still get to follow that training schedule!

Why not register on the forth upcoming Iba, Zambales Run which will be held on June 12, 2011. An Independence day run in commemorating the 400th year of its Municipality. You will be able to run with those people whom you may have never bumped into within your usual routes; locals from Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Pangasinan, La Union and Baguio were tapped to join.

Here’s the special deal about this event: Iba, Zambales is launching the prime tourism tour destination – The Magalawa Island, a naked white sand beach and the 8,000 ft. virgin Mt. Tapulao perfect for the trekkers.

I’m sure you’re already wondering about the transportation and the accommodation, is it going to be costly? No. From what we heard, the organizers are providing the shuttle service and would gladly help you get discounted accommodation.
