Through the help of everyone’s initiatives, Doctors and Pharmaceutical companies, Lifeline Foundation provides and aim to do as much medical aids and health education programs. Lifeline Foundation also sponsors a person who cannot be productive by reason of medical liability.
On its second year, Lifeline Foundation has came up with RUN 4 LIFE which will be held at Westgate Alabang on May 15, 2011. Runners; both newbies and elites are encouraged to register for their desired distances either 3k, 5k, 10k or 16k route and each category signed up on will help a corresponding cause:
The 3km category supports the Satellite School Program
Lifeline Foundation aims to provide an environment where children are shaped into solution-finding and creative individuals. We gather underprivileged elementary students and help them master the basics of reading and math.
The 5km category supports the Medical Mission and Patient of the Month initiative
Each month Lifeline Foundation sponsors a person who cannot be productive by reason of a medical liability. We team with doctors who sponsor their services and we provide the operating expenses of any surgery needed and the medicines required
The 10km category supports the Community Library
Lifeline is partnering with the local government of Barangay BF Homes for the building of a Community Library. This project aims to bring accessible library for under privileged youth who have no access to expensive reading materials
The 16km category supports the Youth Soccer Program
Lifeline foundation sponsors a youth soccer team, these are teams who have the potential and spirit driven but lack the materials and support to continue with their endeavor.
Because this is not another one of those Run for a Cause wherein only a percentage of the total revenue of the run or a partition from each runner’s registration fee will be donated to a cause, KAS Events Management took the initiative to help disseminate information to as much people it can tap.
Team Reebok is also supporting this cause amongst other sponsors not only to make the run happen but also get to touch more lives.
All initiatives, every peso made from Run 4 Life 2011 goes to Lifeline Foundation’s Mission; Satellite School Program for the youth of BF Homes; Soccer Youth Program and the construction of our Community Library.
If you won’t be able to make it on race day, you may also help through the following:
- Donate books for the Community Library
- Medicines, Clothes or Sponsor Food for the Medical Mission
- You can donate to Lifeline Foundation Inc.,
- Sponsor a kid’s education or medical needs
