From last year’s Globe-Ayala Land Run For Home convergence at Ayala Triangle Garden through the premium Makati Central Business District cruising to short to middle distance to this years’s fun run at Bonifacio Global City exiting to Buendia and back, from a mere 5k run with new recruits in running to this year’s pikermi with Team Reebok remains to be a memorable run for me.
On March 27, 2011 Globe-Ayala Land Run for Home 2011 aims to raise funds for the beneficiaries of Gawad Kalinga, Habitat for Humanity Philippines, Haribon Foundation and Virlaine Foundation. Participants choose from 3km, 5km, 10km, 15km, and 21km categories.
Although I wasn’t supposed to run on this race, I’d like to Thank Globe Run 4 Home Run Rio Organizers for the invite and Jet Paiso for giving me his slot for the 21km for me to run the distance with Team Reebok. With my short distance training runs, I braved and finished the pikermi with tons of lessons learned.
To be continued. Race Review.
