Although I have been on hold from blogging about running events and everything that entails my running life, I couldn’t miss out on supporting causes and wonderful celebrations which promotes running and taking charge on a healthy lifestyle.
Being a PRactitioner in both Media Relations and Events, I am grateful to be part of The Philippine Daily Inquirer’s 25th Anniversary fun run celebration which will be held on February 27, 2011. 25 years in every step through 25for25.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer 25th Anniversary Run is going to be held at the Bonifacio Global City and will have fun runs in different distances such as 3k, 5k, 10k and the unique commemorative 25k 5-man relay run.
Here are the categories and registration costs:
3km for P400
5km for P500
10km for P600
For those who are all for a unique fun, you may take part in the 25km 5-Man Relay (5 people, any gender combination, running 5km each – P2,500 for the entire team). Relay is open to first 100 teams only.
Race kit includes: singlet, race bib, route map, timing tag, Multisport magazine, and a discount voucher from Mizuno. Cash prizes to be given away!
Proceeds will go th the Inquirer newsboy Foundation, Children of the Victims of the Maguindanao Massacre, Gifts & Graces Foundation.
