UNILAB Active Health Series of Events

UNILAB, the leading pharmaceutical company in the Philippines known to stand for delivering the best value in health care for every single Filipino family and their full enjoyment of life, has recently launched an elaborate campaign dedicated to starting health awareness within the family through the UNILAB ActiveHealth featuring three activities that you and your family CAN and WILL enjoy while promoting/embracing a healthy lifestyle.

Below are the series of exciting events to watch out for:

UNILAB Bike United was held last Saturday at Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill. The activity is comprised of 20Km Sunset Fun Ride, 4.2Km Alaxan FR Road Criterium, I-ON Dual Stunt, and Ceelin Kiddie Bike Clinic. However, due to inclement weather, the Sunset Fun Ride was postponed. Nice about this activity is that ”Every mile you bike helps another family lead a healthier life. For every registration, Unilab donates medicines to a family in Tahanang Walang Hagdan.”

UNILAB ActiveHealth Tri United (TriU) will be held on November 13, 2010 at Whiterock Beach Resort, Zambales. This triathlon event will be composed of 2km Swim, 91km Bike, and 20Km Run and will be open to 250 individual participants and 50 relay teams only.

In order for the event to be enjoyed by the whole family, Tri Kids Swim and Run Clinic will be held for children 6-12 years of age whose parent or guardian is a participant of the TriU. But this is limited to 50 slots only.

UNILAB ActiveHealth Run United 2 (RunU) will be the first race event in the country to be held in 2 days – November 20 and 21, 2010 at Fort Bonifacio Global City. Thus, it provided room for additional race categories – 15K and 32K Afroman Distance.
