I was blessed on celebrating my birthday at Fontana Leisure Parks with my friends but what made the celebration even more fruitful was having to take along with us a Ford Everest Limited Edition . We arrived safe in different destinations over the course of the weekend.
I picked up the car at the Autohub of Ford Philippines at Bonifacio Global City which was a walk away from the previous place I worked for. I haven’t driven any car for the past 3 years but the anxiety and fear was conquered with peace of mind, confidence and comfort the moment I sat on the driver’s seat, turned the ignition on and drove the first kilometer from the parking lot down to the streets of the highway.
Supposedly the boyfriend was the one who was going to drive the car from the Autohub, but the bullheadedness wouldn’t allow self-defeat hence I braved the fear and took the courage. I have scrapped off another from the bucket list.
The boyfriend asked me to park somewhere within the grounds of Fort Bonifacio, met up and drove the car to pick up the rest of the gang. Soon as everyone was complete, another friend of ours who volunteered to be the designated driver going to Fontana Leisure Park (and Zambales) conceded the birthday weekend ON!
Here’s a video clip from the trip:
Experience during the trip Review:
The eye-catching seven seater-SUV is one of those state-in-the art diesel technology, high responsive to your five-speed automatic drive and runs smooth on the streets regardless if its the high-way or on terrain. It is the ideal car for those with an active lifestyle because of the the convenient selection of 2WD or 4WD mode. It fits right to those who loves road trips and the outdoors, the outstanding leather seat comfortability and space would make everyone be on the go.
The row of seats is very spacious, there’s no problem in terms of legroom. A long drive can be strenuous to our buttocks but the Ford Everest has proven it wrong, plus, the flip-fold system of the seats is truly convenient as it is designed for an easy in and out of passengers. From the driver’s seat perspective, the visuality of passengers is very visible.
If you have your music saved on a memory stick, you can have it plugged in. Aside from the common features, let me mention the top feat we enjoyed most:
One of our friends wasn’t able to join us on the last minute due to family emergency but here’s to one of the features we enjoyed the most. The Bluetooth capability wherien you get to link in your phone and everyone will be able to hear and talk to your friend, clearly patched.
There’s no need for your phone to be near the dashboard, too. I tried the feature while I was at the back most of the car and everyone was surprised there was a phone ringing within the speakers of the car and there it is, we felt the presence of our friend during the trip.
It also supports safety in driving.
I couldn’t help but have a short video of one of the features I loved using the most during the entire week I had the Ford Everest for myself.
Shall have another post about driving it around the metro. Thank you FORD Philippines for making my birthday ultra-special. It has made my 26th birthday spectacular and very memorable.
